All Alone – Short Animated Film
All Alone is a short animated film that was inspired by the way the pandemic has changed the way we celebrate our birthdays. The main character is a woman who is all alone on her 22nd birthday. As she falls asleep in tears, her dreams take her into a new world where she meets a helpful guide. The pair make the most of the day together and she feels a little less alone. I really enjoyed the process of making my drawings move.
I composed and sang the film's background music using Ableton Live. The film was animated with a combination of Toon Boom Harmony and After Effects.
