Flourish Conference

Flourish is a groundbreaking conference dedicated to celebrating and empowering women and nonbinary people in the professional world of graphic design. The deliverables are a mobile app design and a social media ready infographic on the number of men vs. women working in design. The flower imagery was inspired by a vision for growth of women in the design industry. The process of creating the screens in Figma was really fun and I had a great time experimenting with layouts using the columns & grids tool. Also assigning styles to my different typeface sizes from the beginning made my design process much more streamlined.

This social media ready infographic highlights the huge contrast between the number of men and women in leadership positions in the graphic design industry. I want to work towards a future where all designers regardless of gender identity have the same space and opportunity to grow in design leadership roles.
