Portraits of Power: Four Mayoral Portraits

Designed for an official unveiling at Baltimore City Hall, Portraits of Power celebrates the legacies of four former Baltimore mayors through a cohesive visual identity system spanning gallery signage, print collateral, invitations, and apparel.

The exhibition marked a historic moment led by Brandon Scott, introducing new portraits of Sheila Dixon, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Catherine Pugh, and Bernard C. “Jack” Young into the City Hall galleries.

Gallery Signage

At the core of the visual system is a vertical line motif, developed as a symbolic device representing both the passage of time and the continuity of civic leadership.

Printed Graphics

I designed printed brochures that highlight each mayor and their portrait artist, while also framing each portrait within a broader civic timeline.
